Kitchen Table Talk

The Garden hosts these deliberative conversations for the public.This is a structured dialog, where we provide a guide in advance with questions for contemplation and discussion in round robin fashion, and with breakout groups as necessary to accommodate large numbers of attendees.  In all spaces, there are ground rules for participants to ensure civil dialog. 

In the past 5 years, the Garden has hosted dozens of these types of conversations. They are a powerful tool for finding new insights on others' perspectives.  Participants come away finding new common ground and inspiration for taking their next wise action regarding the topics discussed. 

Participants also often find the sessions highly emotive, in a constructive way that lead to new understanding on complex topics.
